This is the loveliest part of my Christmas tree, a gift from my parents. It's a real leaf dipped in gold, a bit how I figure Tolkien pictured the leaves of Laurelin. My tree is new this year and I'm still seeking an appropriate star. We'll probably have to build one. Hopefully that will be one of the final photos of this project in December.
